2026 NSSP DETAILS
For Prospective students and parents:
Courses will be in a hybrid format, and will each be one week in length. NSSP will run throughout the summer from July 6th to August 28th.
“We’re thrilled that you’re interested in our classes this summer! We’re offering 15 different courses – taught by 15 different student teachers – so there’s a STEM topic for everyone to enjoy! Most course details are included in the NSSP 2026 Course Schedule, but for a more detailed overview of what particular classes will cover, please email chloetcarrano@gmail.com or the more general NSSP outreach email at newtonsummerscience@gmail.com.”

All of our classes are free of cost, but donations are always appreciated!
SUPPORT THE NEWTON SOUTH SCIENCE TEAM (THAT'S US)!
NSSP is organized by Newton South’s Science Team, and it’s one of the team’s main methods of generating funds to support every year’s competition fees and study materials. We typically spend more than $400 each season. As such, we have a recommended donation of $15 per class (higher donations are very much appreciated!).
The best way to donate is by writing a check to Newton South High School. Please write "Science Team" in the memo line to ensure we receive it properly. If you have any questions or concerns about the donation, you can email our Science Team head coach, Dr. Gerald Ng (ngg@newton.k12.ma.us).
... you could drop it off at Newton South's main office or mail it to

Thank you for your donation! Your generosity will greatly help Science Team next year.
